"The current version of KonSULT is a prototype. Substantive content for many of the instruments is consequently not yet included. Comments from users on any aspects of the design and content to date are invited. These will be taken into account in ongoing development of the prototype."

The following levels of information are available:

Home (the current level) provides general introductory material.

Transport strategy includes material on approaches to urban transport strategy development, related policy objectives and measures, past trends and future scenarios, approaches to the assessment of individual measures, barriers to implementation, and ways of developing an integrated strategy.

Policy instruments includes specific material for individual policy measures, with detailed appraisal of the nature of the measure, a first principles assessment, evidence on its performance, its contribution to objectives and problems, and an identification of complementary instruments. Over 60 measures will be included when KonSULT is fully developed. It is currently in its pilot stage.
